trying to find birth of thomas oneil born about 1882 he was married in 1901 to jane allison on the certificate his father is hugh (deceased) they were married in auckland durham

Have you looked on a census to find where he was born?

Sounds as though he may have started life in Ireland

Have seen this quite often, cross-over Scotland /far North of England, so you never know.

All bmd's from 1837 to approx 1935-40 are on there..............
