Probably in the Durham area but could be Stockton

Fanny Brooksbank is my g g grandmother .....born 1841 died 1861 I cannot detect any records......She had a son called Lancelot who is my direct decendant, His second name was Brooksbank.. However, she must , from the dates, died or given him up after childbirth........ she supposed to have married William Best in 1861 , which was the same year she died....... William Best went on to remarry Mary Coatman who had 6 children and a large extended familly......i have that info but its the Fanny ......Lancelot Brooksbank family i am interested in....

Is this Lancelot, mistranscribed, or have you got his birth certificate anyway?

I can see a Lancelot Bowbank in 1861, so could also be he.

Lancelot was born in 1842 1901 Cencus
No birth cert but i know he was my grandmother s father his wife called Dorothy Henfry ........ My grandmoter and 9 siblings between 1892 - 1903

The age in the 1901 census could be wrong, and if he was born in 1862 that was after Fanny died.
