Do you have the marriage certificate, and so name of father? Or the birth certificate with parents' names? Or some idea of occupations?

Why would you be looking for grandparents rather than parents? Or do you have parents? If so, give their names.

Do you mean grandparents or parents? Either way you may need his birth cert. with that name!

I am searching for details regarding the grand parents of William John Smith bn in Dover Kent in second quarter 1879. He married Lily Moore in 1902 in Brighton Sussex. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks Brian
