Ancestry is where I got 1881. This is the only census free to search. It is on 2-3 sites.

www.familysearch.org has it as well.

i seem to be struggling with locating my grandfather (alexander bowcott b 7/7/1910) or his parents. Father Samual george bowcott, mother emma bowcott formerly devey in the above census. Address I have on g/f birth certificate is 18? court 3 high street aston birmingham (UK).
i seem to be really struggling as cannot trace there marriage certificate either to trace the bowcott part of the family further...
