Thanks flick for the correction - there are that many names sometimes you get confused going backwards and forwards all the time. I have been researching my family for 15 years now and this is the hardest link I have ever had even with everybodies help. |

Thanks for your help Your info ties in with mine for 51 and 61 so that is good, the addresss for 1841 should have read 24 Vauxhall Street, which makes much more sense , I miss read my 1800's writing! |

Just in passing, I think Ebenezer might only be 30 in 1851 - what do others think? |

I am trying to find a family of Tomkinsons particularly Ebenezer Tomkinson he would have been in his 20's in 1841. I can not find any details on him until 1851 Census at which time he has several children and a "wife" called Caroline (i can't find any evience for this marriage) but I beleive caroline to be too young to be the mother of the younger children she would have only been about 16 so I applied for what I think is the eldest childs birth certifcate George Tomkinson born 13 August 1840. Parents are Ebenezer and Eliza Tomkinson born at 24 Newhall Street, Birmingham. |

Is there anybody who could perhaps help look up on the 1841 census who lived at 24 Newhall Street, Birmingham. I cannot find them on Genes but perhaps somebody has access to a programme who can look up addresses. |
