wright i found my thread but having problems with getting to the info where to go for say the vol of things and pages numbers where do i get them from

Tracy, the volume numbers and page numbers are those that are needed to order the certificates from the GRO. That is the only way to actually see the certificates. From April each certificate will cost £9.25

Some of the indexes are transcribed on Freebmd and that's where we found them for you. The census records that I posted were from ancestry.co.uk (subscription site). The ones that Helen posted will be from a subscription site too.
