I can't see any of them. Just speculating - as Thomas is so much older could this be a 2nd marriage for Mary, Louisa having another name?

Just a possibility!

i have found their daughter Alice Frances Mary Aldridge baptism in 1857 .........she was born 1854........the baptism has her parents as Thomas and Mary Aldridge........same with daughter Ada Annie Aldridge - was on same day......but no baptism for louisa

So I am probably going for what you are thinking about Louisa being from one of their first marriages....but whose Thomas or Mary!!!

just double checked the 1851 and Mary is Frederics sister so unmarried with Louisa!

surley this must be Thomas second marriage too as he is SO much older.....

True, but speaking for myself I was just more interested in mary, going on the assumption that Louisa was her daughter not Thomas's hence the problem finding them in 1851.
