Curious and curiouser

I cannot find Louis or daughter Mary on the 1861 Census

I have tried using per*ot* and per*tet*

I have tried using forename + birth year +/- 5 + birth place

I have tried using birth year +/- 5 and birth place for Mary (Clare, Suffolk)



BUT I also cannot find the Francis family that the Perrottet's were lodging with on the 1861 either, although I have found William and wife Mary in 1871.

I looked for them because I wondered if Louis had stayed with them after Louisa died or had left Mary with them.


I also tried looking for David Louis Perrottet, or any other members of his family.


They've all taken off in that great alien space ship!

This is David Louis Perrottet death registration ...... I did look on the image, and I'm 98% certain that the name that the trsncriber could not decipher is Louis
