I have found what I think is the death of a relative in WW1 on Scotlandspeople. It just shows a list of names , the year and how they died, Is there any way I can find out more .
He was James Moore b. 1877 in Glasgow .

was he a WW1 Casualty

Surname Fahse. Germany. Essex .South East London My avatar is one of our wedding photos of 1957

I think it is him I found on Scotlandspeople, this James died 1915 in the Dardanelles.
There is no other death on Scotlandspeople that matches with him.

Memorial: HELLES MEMORIAL

The page of the WW1 war returns register you got from SP gives his regt at top and his service # in 1st col - so you should KNOW if this record matches the d.rego you have.

Incidentally, clicking on the HELLES MEMORIAL link on the CWGC site gives you info abt the memorial, as well as a link at bottom of page to a photo of the memorial.

This is the one I thought might be mine but not the same wife I'm afraid,
there are a lot of J.Moore's and some don't show next of kin so I don't know which one would be mine.
