You can get the certificate from GRO in Roscommon in Ireland. Quote the refernces and they reduce the price to 8 euros but you can get a copy of the entry cheaper. They will accept cash euros if you send it signed for.

I did a quick search on 1911 census for John Calvert, Soldier and the only one to show is this one:-

ok this is what i know John Chapman was in the forces and went over to ireland in Dublin around 1916 to serve when there was conflict ... i don't know birth date. i believe he came from somewhere called churchsaxton ??? but can't be sure.he married a irish woman don't know her name either what i do know is that my grandmother was born in dublin Evelyn sophie Chapman 7.1.1919 ther were other children Ruth , david and i think the wife had been married before.. i have heard that John chapman came back to england and died in nottingham i don't know when. i aslo was told he had got injured whilst serving ... my grandmother and her siblingings came to england and lived in Nottingham ... would love some information if anyone knows who he married in ireland .. when he died his prents ect..
