Hi Everyone
I have printed off everything that has been sent to me via the site from everyone , and also kept copies on my computer. Getting organised at last ... Sent off for the Wedding Cert last night.

I have discovered I did have a relative called Elizabeth Jinks also. I found details of her death (sadly no year date only the month and day) in an old birthday book of my grandmothers) so it seems the info on changing their names to shaw is proving correct. No information about Jinks with Police records but one with Shaw... I feel like Sherlok Holmes.

I Have contacted Police records in Lancashire/ Rochdale with request for info on W H Shaw and explained the sittuation, so lets see what comes up.
