Find Ancestors

I am trying to find relatives of Edith Smith who married Fred Lea in 1924 at the parish church Gorton.Edith's father was John Smith.Edith's address was Taylor street Gorton.

For ref
Gorton,Lancashire,in the reg district of Chorlton.

How old was Edith when she married?
What is her fathers occupation and are the witnesses family names from the Smith side?
To help try to find her on census.

Thats if you are trying to trace back of course as you dont really say.

Yes I am trying to trace back .Edith was 20 years old when married .John Smith her father was a porter.The witnesses were Joseph and Annie Smith.I think Fred lea told afib about his age when he got married as his parents did not want him to marry Edith.

And if you give me details for Fred Lea I will try and find him for you if you havent already.

There are far too many births of Edith Smith to try and pick her out,but only 2 for a Stephen Smith,and I think the 1907 one is the most likely as no second names are given for any of the children on 1911or on Ediths marriage cert.
