Hi, I am trying to find the birth entry for Margaret Parker, born Deptford c1859. Her father was Frederick and she married Henry Schimp/f. She had several children and her Daughter Florence, married name Edwards, was the informant on her death certificate, 13/07/1933. Would be very grateful for any help!!!

Birth registration wasn't compulsory until 1875 so you may not find a birth for her, only a baptism.

Hi, all who have replied, many thanks for all your help, it is tha actual birth entry that I can't find, but I have been informed that birth registration was not compulsory until 1875, so maybe just not registered !!! I could always get the certificate for a sibling to get the mothers maiden name. Kind regards, Donna.
