i am trying to find any information about my great grandmother, her name was lillian carter 21/7/1903 (i think) she married a man called albert tranter and then married joseph pugh. they lived in dawley shropshire. she died when she was 68 (1972).
if anyone can give me any information about her that would be great.

There are 35 Lillian or Lilian Carters of about the right age on 1911 census - none of them in Shropshire. But following up on Freewheel's post, there is this Lilian Tranter - and she's in Dawley.

I can't see any Lilian Norgroves on the 1911 census - just one Lilly and she is in Edmonton, Middlesex.

yes that would be her death but i dont think that is her first marrage, i dont know that she had the name chatter.
