Does not come under Rugeley


There is a Charles Preston listed in that area

They had a daughter Julia Ann Preston born 1825, William Preston died in 1861. Hope this helps

I have Julia Ann Preston born 1828 and died 4/4/1832. I received a message today which said Julia married Elijah Drury on 5/4/1844 at Manchester Cathedral. I thought that the 1841 census wold confirm one way or the other.

I don't understand. Your original post said nothing about these two.

I assumed that if Julia was not mentioned on the 1841 census my record that she was dead would be correct, as she would have only been 13 years of age and the information I have is that she died in 1832 at the age of 4.

So, no mention of Glitterbaby finding them despute incorrect info?

I cna't see a Julia



BUT the 1841 census could be wrong ................ her name may have been written down incorrectly, or mis-transcribed.
