There is this death.....can't view it on-line as it occurred after 1958 so cannot confirm if it is your Isabella. There was another Isabella Gerrie who married a Peter Robertson so it is most probably her death

Isabella I dont know as we cant seem to find a death or marriage for her,unless she went to Scotland and married or died there,has that been checked?

I'm not sure I understand your thread was your nan Isabella's daughter. If so then what was your nan's father's name?

It's ok I found out about Alex Robertson...his death, his Regiment (not the Black Watch) his marriage to Helen Gerrie, his relationship/marriage to Isabella and Helen Dorothy Robertson/Gerrie's birth.
Then I found your original 2005 post where you had given more info. I love researching and was delighted when this confirmed my research.

T his is my storey .My nan told me a long time ago that she remembers her farther in his black watch kilt .On investigation she must have been 4 years old as he went off to war in 1914 .He was killed in 1917 and is buried in Belgium and I'm visiting this yer .but and this a big but and has eluded me since I started some 6 years ago encouraged by my farther in law.Wat happened to Isabella and the children. Bryan can you offer any more information? What country is Fraserburgh located in? Is Stepen a typo in the subject line? Should it be Stephen and was this a married name? Do you have any birth or death dates? I have much info on Gerries born in Aberdeenshire Scotland that migrated to Waterloo, Ontario Canada but so far don't see a match.

Anyone got Worldwide membership on Ancestry and can do a look up please.
