Thank you both, that is superb. Wife born Hawnby is exactly what I was hoping for. Yes, that is them in Hull - they married there. Sorry, I thought they were in Huddersfield by 1841. Thank you! |

Hello Could someone please look at the 1841 and 1851 census please to see if there is a John Chapman, born about 1796 in Helmsley, living in Dalton/Huddersfield. His wife's name should be Elizabeth. Any information about occupation, wife's place of birth, children's names and ages would be fantastic. |
