If I were looking for William Honey, I would be looking at the 1848 +/- . There are several threads that are pointing you in that direction, have you actually read them, sorry but given the information and what was returned I cannot think why you are thinking 1853. There is an exellent site where you can look for free, called, FREEBMD, where you can look at your hearts content at all BMDs upto about 1940, which is where some of the information came from, and the rest from paying sites, where you pay to access, the information, like we did this afternoon. I don,t think confused comes into it. Sorry for being abrupt, but people are trying to help you, as I said earlier, there were 4 William Honey,s born in Oxfordshire 1847 to 1853 but only 2 in DRAYTON, non were born in drayton 1853. So if John 1900 & Thomas 1901 ARE your rellies then William WAS born 1848. I am pretty sure the one you are going to get the certificate for in Abbingdon is the WRONG one especially if John 1900 & Thomas 1901 are your Rellis, you already have the info.

Yes the john which is my grandad was and Thomas was born ion Norwood and no on the marriage cert William and Emma had no second name.

Has either William or Emma got middle names, was William born in Drayton Oxfordshire, do the 2 Sons Born in 1900 &1901 John and Thomas born in Norwood fit into your tree?.

There were 4 William Honey,s born in Oxforshire between 1847 & 1853

I would love to know if he was born in 1853 which i think he was, then i would be able to go on with my tree , also i think he got married again its all so confusing this tree searching!!. jean
