A son William who married Maggie Lippett - he was born 1915 I believe.

Then the first thing you have to do is start over really,or else you may well be barking up the wrong tree.

We can help ,no prob,but if you want to be sure this is the correct line for the family you will need to invest in some certs Im afraid,especially with the name woods,I know as my mothers line is Wood !
And that has been a minefield ...

I am trying to trace my husbands great great grandfather. I have him listed as the nephew of James and Catherine Woods on the census for 1901 and 1891. He was 24 in 1901, so was born around 1877?

I believe he was born in Haslingden - as this is where James was born and subsequent generations, but I am struggling to find him so I can get back on track. If I can find his parents that would be great.

Any assistance greatly received.
