Just got the birth certificate for James Hodgins born September 1840 Ashton under Lyne. Parents John Hodgins and Caherine Hodgins formerly Corbet. Is there a marriage for them before 1840? Are they in the census anywhere. Looks like they lived in Mofs St. Fathers occupation looks like Cooper? Any help much appreciated. There were two James Hodgins born in the same town same year. |
