i have the above relative in all census but in 1901/11 it states he his married and on both census no wife the only women with him is a lucy whitworth single servant and in 1911 3 children any suggestions on the whereabouts of the wife or do you think lucy could be the mother?

Can you tell us when and where Arthur was born so we can locate him on the census and see what you mean?

It looks very likely - a child's birth cert would confirm the motther's name

Might be worth to get this B/C..i would think the K stands for Kirk

Good find Juile - I have also been trying to find her but just came up with her death - I wonder if the 1891 marriage is him but between the marriage and 1901 he seperated from his wife which is why he never married Lucy who bore these three children
