............... so it might be the correct assumption to make

What leads you think that all (or any) of the grandchildren are Arthur's offspring?

You can't have birth certs, or you'd know the mother's name

You are going to ahve to buy the birth certificate for one of the 4 children

Thta will give you the mother's name and maiden name.


Then we can see if we can find a marriage registration between a Scott and that maiden name


There's no ifs, ands or buts about it ........... The children are not showing up on the Londond Baptisms listing.

He wasn't married in the 1891 census.
His son Arthur was born Dec Q 1893 in Newington London.
His fourth child, Minnie Elizabeth was born Mar Q 1900 in Harrow Middlesex.
He was widowed in the 1901 census.
Who was his wife?
