Trying to find details of Adelaide Possee born 1860 IN KENT to parents John Possee 1823-1888 and Hannah Possee 1830-1882. Adelaide married Alfred Pearson in 1879 but cannot find a mention on any subsequent census for her. I have checked deaths on freebmd but they are not complete.

no sadly i only have details of marriage..no cert yet. I would have thought the name Adelaide would be easy to trace but cannot seem to find her on any census after she married so think perhaps she died before 1881 census as she got married in 1879 but is not on 1881 census. Sadly Alfred Pearson doesn' t seen to be there either......!.

Although the name is wrong I think this is same family as I know ADELAIDE had sisters with these names so it is too much coincidence for it not to be right.

Did a free search on FMP there was one Adelaide Pearson...she left the country in 1910....

Sorry Tracey this was on the migration part....unfortunately I don't have any credits to find out the details. I also cannot find them on the 1881/1891/1901 census'

I think this is right probably as there is a man with her husbands name on the passenger list. Still does not explain why they are not on any census but I guess Adelaide may be the relative that got away!!!!!Thanks for helping me Vera
