	If she really was his niece, the marriage would not have been legal. Have you found him on 1881 census? Does he have a wife on there? What was his occupation? What was his father's name? And occupation?

Member Since: February 2007 Posts: 13 Send Message	hi i am trying to find the first marriage of william james shaw born in 1835 in bermondsey london. on his marriage cert it says he is a widower age 57. in 1893 he married his neice louisa sarah lines in lambeth. i have searched records but can find no record of his first marriage thankyou
