Thanks Jan,Thats what I call rapid response,Its got me started,The name Edes has come back to me now I have heard it in the past mentioned in the family.As I am just new to this, I hope this gets to you,Thanks again Harry.

I think you need his marriage cert for his fathers name and occupation,if there is one on it of course.
Also it will have his age at marriage on it.

Have you found him on any census?

I am not finding a likely death for him with middle name or initial.

Nor a birth,just as Jan hasnt either.

I can't see his birth anywhere at all - others may have more luck!

trying to find any information on my grandfather henry robson parker ,born in newcastle on tyne in c1878. attended elswick works school.became a heating engineer,married mary ?in june 1902 had two sons henry robson, and norman robson.his father may have worked at elswick works as the school was built for employees children.my grandfather died in c1910 as the 1911 census has mary aged 30 a widow with her two sons.would be grateful for any info. Harry.
