Is this is them 1911?? - birthplace checks out as Manchester: Year of marriage 1909. Maybe just happen to be somewhere else on census day??

Maybe you do have the marriage cert as you give her father's name. Do you have the witnesses?

There are a few possibilities, but none with Clara born in Chorlton - that I can see anyway.

If you don't have her marriage certificate, you really do need to buy it. As Christine says, it will give her father's name and occupation, plus confirmation of her age. Then you can go backwards on the hunt for James................

any infoe on a clara brown born about 1876? fathers name james brown. She got married to a william galloway in 1909.
