Makes it easy to find who is living with, anyhow.

Thanks to Lesley's post on Tips I now know that Ancestry has got the complete 1916-2005 deaths index on line! And it doesn't do me much good personally (except that I have now found my father's father's father's death!), so I'm just playing with it.

If the date of birth is correct there, the birth record above certainly looks like him.

Havering Att Bower comes under Romford registration district

Barking was under Ilford registration district at that time

I amtrying to find parents and grandparents for Leslie Charles Clarke, born 20 Aug 1905 in Havering Atte Bower, Nr. Barking, Essex. His siblings were: Gertrude, George, Ethel, Fred (no dates for any of them).
