I'm looking for a Jonathan William Pargiter born circa 1819 in Bristol (a boot maker) and his wife Mary Ann Bird born circa 1823 in Bristol. They would have have been living somewhere in the Bristol or Gloucester areas. Many thanks for any help. |

Thanks very much for the BMD info. Yes, Jane Morgan was his second wife and their son Archibald John was my great grandfather. They obviously moved down to Hampstead eventually as that was the area where Archibald married and had children. |

Thanks Glitter Baby - but that can't be him. I know surnames get distorted over time, but I can't imagine that he got married for a third time!! Something to think about though ................. |

I have seen that entry for a John Wm Pargiter as a servant before and wondered whether he was "mine". Clarissa died at about 2 years old, that I am certain of. You'd think with a name like Pargiter that searching would be easy, wouldn't you!! |

I knew about Clarissa but I don't know how, stupid as that sounds, although I didn't know she could have been his third wife's child. I was trying to find out if Jonathan and his first wife Mary had any children, sorry to have confused you. |
