looked again at the 1881 image and it states Rudman F D Willis, can only see this birth;

It ties in though, they just switched the names around,

Thanks dee you have cleared that up for me because william 1856 father was also called william 1830/31 all through the census his wife is named jane but the 1881 census shows her as elizabeth jane but l have found a marriage to a jane rudman. so l now know where the rudman comes from thanks for your help michelle

William F Jnr was born Aston, Warwickshire.

Looks like William Snr married Harriet Smith in 1878, and looking at the births there is a William Frederick Willis born Cheltenhma in 1856.
