Thanks Kay. I'm not sure how this family relates to my mgm's family - the names are the same! My gm (Mary) was born 1895 to John Hussey & Bridget Sullivan. Her siblings were Peter (1886) Dave (1887), Nora (1889) Bridget (1890) Martin (1893) Mary (my gm, 1895) Mike(1896), and Thomas (1898). There may have been another brother Patrick (1884) but he may have died young and my gm never spoke of him. I should have included this info in the post - I was probably tired or frustrated by that point. Sorry!

Caryn........ this might be the marriage???
John Hussey and a Bridget Sullivan
1889 Qtr.1 Vol.5 Page 45 Cahersiveen, Co Kerry

Though some of your birth dates are earlier than 1889.
How reliable are they?

Have a look at the website:
http://pilot.familysearch.org/recordsearch/#=0

Have just noted the following birth:
Hanora Hussey
1889 Qtr.1 Vol.5 Page 43 Cahersiveen, Co Kerry.
This fits in with your Nora!
Might be worth ordering that cert.

More Hussey's born in County Kerry, Ire: 1846-1848. My great grandfather, Edward Hussey born 1846, his brother Patrick 1848. They are brickmasons.
Found in U.S. Census 1870, New Jersey. Then later, same year, Edward & wife Julia Breslan have 1st child , Mary Anastasia Hussey in San Francisco.California. They have 5 other children , all born in S.F. Then I found in 1880, a Daniel Hussey , brickmason living at same address at Edward & Julia Hussey. Edward Hussey dies Dec 1, 1893, S.F.Cal. A memeber of Ancient Order of Foresters. Julia (Breslan) Hussey dies in 1894 & was born in Co. Kerry, Ireland. Any one know of these people? Let me know. Thanks.
