I am trying to find The following family. John Smith, born 1844 Brewood, his wife Rebecca Hanmer or Jones, born 1840ish Knockin, Shropshire, son Thomas born 20 Dec 1866 Knockin, son William 1869 Penkridge Staffordshire. Ihave them in 1871 living at Penkridge.
They may have emigrated to Australia, John sister did, but I can find no evidence of this.
In 1901 there is a Thomas smith married to a lady with a child born in Brisbane Australia. He claims to be born at Knockin, but is younger than my Thomas. He may have lied about his age because he would have been much older the is wife and was living with her parents.
