Thanks for reply. Whether he married I have no idea. No record of him between 1891 and 1915 approx.

Edward Large born Lambeth 1865, 1891 lance sergeant in 1st. border regiment of infantry, Believe he served in the Boer War, Parents Edward(greengrocer)and Mary lived in Lambeth Walk.
Cannot find any trace between 1891 and 1915, He died 1931 Cricklewood,
