Thanks for that information it all ties in with little threads i have. It shows that Mary, George, and Walter all went to america whilst Alice who i believe married a Charles Rice and Harry ( my great grandad ) who married Eliza Rosson stayed in england. This link came from a photo album from Walter in america and a picture of a Edith and Alfred in wedding attire. Nice to tie family link up. Just a pity that Walters album has no names to all the portrait pictures. Could be some of George and their parents.

In the 1900 United States census, I do not subscribe for full information, there is an Alfred J Shirley in Providence Rhode Island with wife Edith R. Someone here may be able to give you their details.

I had thought an 1841 marriage for people getting mail in 1900ish might be a little unlikely but you never know so that does look like a probable marriage.

Unfortunately your Alice and William and Mary Ann Cooper siblings are not mine, I think all Coopers named their children the same things lol.

Have located a poss marridge for Caroline, but Caroline is spelt as Carroline sept 1841 west brom. Thats as far as i have got at the moment.

I was going to try to give you a boost and post the marriage of Henry Cooper & Caroline Mayfield. But there isn't one.

Found the same two marriages.

Edward Nock I can find on 1851 and 1861 census but not afterwards and does not appear to be a death for him.

So could do with some feedback on this one.

Well, since there are only two Alfred Shirley + Edith marriages, 1903 and 1911, and neither Edith is a Nock ... I'll be waiting for Kev to show some further interest and do a little more typing!

If you expand a bit it is much more likely that someone could help.

The dates of birth of George,Walter,Mary, Alice and Harry? Are they all siblings? Parents' names? Where were they born/did they live?

Do you have their records in censuses? Have you looked for marriages at FreeBMD, or looked for them in the 1911 census?
