Find Ancestors

Thanks to some great help from previous members i have been able to piece together g grandparents etc. Unfortunately I can't seem to go any further. My G Grandmother Edith Emily Dymond was born (according to her death & marriage certificate) in 1874 in Rockbeare Devon. She married William John Rose 20th Aug 1900 in the parish of Rockbeare which was witnessed by Emma Coles & Robert Ralph Dymond. Again, according to her marriage certificate her father was called William Dymond & was a Agricultural labourer. Unfortunately I cannot find William Dymond on the census & would dearly love to know where he was born, when he was born & his wife's name. Once again i would be very grateful for any help.

Thanks for that, i did obtain a copy of the census but couldn't work out the relationship. I thought it said son which really confused me, but now it all makes sense.

the only thing that confuses me is according to 1891 census, William was aged 60, 1881 census says he was aged 40 & 1871 says he was aged 36.
Do you think it is the same William that married Mary Ann Fisher in 1879 as it seems he was married to Jane in 1871 & Susana in 1881.

Looks like Daisy was a twin

Thomas in 1881 on the actual image and age has been entered then changed to 40 but I can't make out what the original entry had been.

William and Thomas were both born in the same area but the 10 years difference in the age makes you wonder if it is the same person.

There doesn't seem to be a matching birth on FreeBMD for Edith Emily - there are some Ediths but not with Emily as a middle name.

Has any one else seen anything likely?

I think Both Reginald (Riegenell) & henry were born out of wedlock as they both have the surname Dymond. I have ordered Henry's birth certificate & am hoping it will name his father.
