Find Ancestors

Just checked through my Baptism records & Birth Certs., and found that:

Mary Ann Pollard born Nov 1864.
Baptism sponsor was TERESA KELLY

William Francis Pollard born Feb 1870.
Birth Registered by KATE RYAN, present at the birth.
Baptism sponsor, Mary Perry.

So perhaps there is a link between these families..somewhere along the line!

What a coincidence! I wonder if any of the families were related, don't suppose we'll ever know. I have so very little information on this branch of the family, just what I found on the 1911 census.

And you have turned up an unknown grandchild for Alicia & Sylvester Skelly..... Patrick Kearney..... if I'm reading it right.

Could you have a look and see if my Gran's siblings and their spouses are in Rotunda Ward please.

They are not at home on the 1911 Census where my Gran, Emily Brady and her parents Michael & Brigid were living in Leeson St, Dublin.

They were all born in Dublin County and/or Dublin City and are Roman Catholic.

The one for Mary Pollard aged 80 could be my Gt Gt Grandmother.

I know her husband Thomas Pollard died in 1892 aged 62 and she appears in the Thom's Directory living at 18 Bolton St, Dublin City in 1897...where my grandfather was born...and she was present at few of other family member's births.

My Gt Gt Grandfather Thomas Pollard appears in Thoms Directory at 18 Bolton St. from 1880-1891

Is Bolton Street in Rotunda Ward too..do you know?

I know she cannot be found on the 1911 census and as yet I have been unable to locate a death record for her as I have nothing that records her age anywhere.
