Did you see the info here and in my message about the person who has a Georgina Buckley born 1943 in Birmingham in her tree here at GR?

There was no Georgina Buckley born 1943 in Birmingham. The only person who looks at all like that is your Georgina born 1944 in Birmingham. (There is a Georgina born in 1942 or 1943 in Lancaster, but no one else similar.)

There is a very good chance that the person who has that Georgina in her tree here at GR has *your* Georgina and has just made a slight mistake about her birth year.

If you click on "Search Trees" -- the button third from the left in the row up above this thread -- and just search for Georgina Buckley, then read down the list, you will see, right under your Georgina opposite your name, the Georgina born 1943.

If you click on the "Find out more" button next to that person's name, you can send her a message to ask whether you have the same Georgina.

It's even possible that that person is Georgina's daughter, for example.

I hope you do see this, and give it a try if it seems reasonable.

when I was seventeen I met my sister who I now no she was nineteen I then moved down to london the same year approx 1964 and lost contact with her just thought I would try and found her or family so I could pass the inform to my family.

There is no birth to match those specs in the index, so that's likely your Georgina, I'd think.

A location is always an essential bit of info for searches.

She was born in Birmingham?

There's a marriage for that name in Birmingham in 1971, but with a middle initial - so it matches a birth of someone younger than your sister.

Do you know whether she grew up somewhere other than that area?

I am trying to find my sister Georgina Buckley born 9/4/1944.
Brought up in foster home as I was ,she is 2yrs older then me I am James Thomas Buckley . I found our parents which are William George Buckley married Elizabeth Vera Dartnell on 23/7/1932.
I would be very grateful for any help. thank you
