I think the 1859 death of a Thomas was a thomas Gibson aged 55 a sawyer - death reported Liverpool Mercury

1st half of 1845 is also only in the process of being transcribed!!

I typed it out-which is no mean feat for me!! The other article is just too long.
There's this one,though:
Liverpool Mercury etc (Liverpool, England), Tuesday, May 31, 1859; Issue 3522.
An inquest was held on Saturday last on view of the body of Agnes Gibson,aged 35,the wife of a slater and plasterer living at 44 Trueman street. The deceased occupied a fish stall in the market,but,in consequence of the death of two of her sons

within the space of six weeks,her reason became affected,and she took to drinking. Her lifeless body was found in the river,near the Dingle. Verdict."Found drowned".

there are 2 articles about Agnes in the Liverpool Mercury - one announcing her death and another about a memorial presented to the fish market in her remembrance (June 3 1859). Well worth reading for local colour

A Woman Found Drowned-Yesterday morning,the body of Agnes Gibson,wife of a plasterer living in Trueman street,was picked up in the river by the crew of the Runcorn steamer Blanche. She had been,it is said,in a bad state of mind,and on Thursday evening had threatened to drown herself. An inquest will be held today.

Can anyone help me, I have a marriage which seems to be eluding me,
Samuel Gibson b1815 Liverpool Lancashire wed to
Agnes ? b 1821 Liverpool Lancashire... first born was 1841, Agnes believed to have killed herself after losing two sons one in a rail accident and the other two weeks later in 1859.
Can anyone help , I have their census's for 1841/51...lokking for thier marriage.
