I am trying to find details of a Rev. John Payne (Circa. 1817) who was the father of my great-grandmother Emma Payne (1843 - 1892.) I believe most of his family, including himself and his wife died in a shipwreck off the cost of Isle of Wight in a ship called the Adelaide Star. I believe Emma and her sister Lydia were the only survivers of the family. |
