You marry in your current name whether its a first marriage or a second one. A widow would marry still in her current name not her maiden name.A divorcee could go back to their maiden name if they wanted too but unless they lied about being a spinster then i would think they would have to declare they were divorced and show the decree absolute to prove they were legally free to marry,both names then would show on the register ie Underwood also known as Tyler.OR Tyler also known as Underwood |

Divorce in the 1920/30/40s was very hard to get and costly I cant see any marriages for her Maybe she didnt marry so it was easy for her to move on to another partner.?? |

yes mildred was first married to a William Tyler and had Jack tyler and cora tyler dont know what happened next but mildred went to liverpool and married Jack Lucas and had half sister Olive in her 40's but as you say cant seem to find any of the marriages or coras birth |

Have now recived birth cert for my Olive Mildred Lucas b8/1/1942 liverpool south giving her parents as Mildred Lucas nee Underwood and Jack Lucas living at 129 Parkhill Rd Liverpool 8 |
