George H " son 3mos Scalby, Yorks.
George Pennison father in law wdr 75 Living on own means Gilberdike,Yorks.

Can't find the elusive Jessey either before or after 1901. Annoying!

Argh the only Jesseys on the 1911 census are all female lol just my luck

Johns are often known as Jack so seems likely he was registered as John William
He changed his name to his mums maiden name ?.I wonder if he found he was reg as John William Underwood and decided to use his reg name

Jack Tyler cant find cert have sent for a few from GRO but all have been wrong it get confussing
i was told that Jack was born in the clee hill area 1920 as his dad William was a Quarry Manager have found his death cert BUT Jack changed his name to John William Underwood and died as that in 1980

Coras i just cant find she ended up in the Wallasy area
only cert that i havent bought yet is for a Jack Cyril Tyler !

where did you find Jack Tyler birth. maybe we pinpoint where the family were from that info

didnt look at that one as i have just got a birth cert for one of her children im i assuming that if she had a middle name would that be on the cert i have ?lol or am i wrong again lol

any chance we can see where Mildred is in 1901 please it might help confirm the 1911 census

You marry in your current name whether its a first marriage or a second one. A widow would marry still in her current name not her maiden name.A divorcee could go back to their maiden name if they wanted too but unless they lied about being a spinster then i would think they would have to declare they were divorced and show the decree absolute to prove they were legally free to marry,both names then would show on the register ie Underwood also known as Tyler.OR Tyler also known as Underwood

Divorce in the 1920/30/40s was very hard to get and costly I cant see any marriages for her Maybe she didnt marry so it was easy for her to move on to another partner.??

im not sure how it work wouldnt she still have to of registered in her own name Underwood ? as i cant see anything even for a Lucas/Tyler marriage ?

So its a Tyler/lucas marriage then not Underwood /Lucas!

yes mildred was first married to a William Tyler and had Jack tyler and cora tyler dont know what happened next but mildred went to liverpool and married Jack Lucas and had half sister Olive in her 40's but as you say cant seem to find any of the marriages or coras birth

Cant see an Underwood /Lucas marriage wonder if Mildred was previously married?

Have now recived birth cert for my Olive Mildred Lucas b8/1/1942 liverpool south giving her parents as Mildred Lucas nee Underwood and Jack Lucas living at 129 Parkhill Rd Liverpool 8

was told Mildred was born in Hull c1900 but no proof of this am only able to find 2 mildreds born in Howden &Wellingourgh

any help on births or marriages would be great
