Hi please can anyone tell me how to get this ladys surname, i belive she was born 1766 in Berkshire, she is with her husband John Pike in the 1841 census, it would be so nice to give her surname to her. |

It looks as though she was born out of the county of Berkshire according to 1841 which could make finding her a bit tricky. |

BVRI has 8 children of John & Rachel in Childrey between 1788-1807. Do you have them? |

No not silly at all, thats what genealogy is all about! I know they are quite young but I have come across others marrying of the same age. Untill around 1924 I think the legal age for girls was 12 and boys 14, so you really cant rule it out. |

Kelly, are you basing year of birth from their ages on the 41 census? Remember that ages on that census were rounded down to the nearest 5 so that age 75 could be anything from 75-79 making them born 1762-1766. |
