Find Ancestors

Hi:

I keep hitting brick walls with dear old Uncle Bill when I try to find his family connections before he married my Aunt Alice Widdowson, in Hull. He came from Barton on Humber and was born somewhere around 1880 .... he died in the 1960's I think.

He was in the British army serving in Mesopotamia(sp.?) during the first world war.

He and Alice had a son, Colin, who died of a childhood disease when he was 3 years old in Hull around 1936ish.

Can anyone help please.
