Looks good for Frances, but I think the John one is unlikely. Wisbech is a good 60 miles from Norwich. There are a huge number of Coplands in the Norwich area which are more likely his lot.

Michael, you need to check out the parish registers on this.

Were any of the kids born after 1837 - so you could get the cert and mums maiden name?

If he were born 1786 then he would have been 55 in 1841? In which case he probably married prior to 1837 and no certificate will exist.
