Hi Everyone

I am doing my mother-in-laws history.

I would like to find a george smith
Year of birth 1869
Born Suffolk, Hollesley.

I have spent some time trying to search on the census of 1871 onwards but no luck, only the 1901 was the report that gave me a lot of info.

Did he marry?

If so, the marriage certificate will name his father - if known

Have you looked for him in 1881? It is free on www.familysearch.org

He did marry to a Elizabeth she was born 1870.

I haven't tried that site I have been using ancestry, i find it easier for my to understand sad i know.

This is almost certainly the youngest child's birth - the certificate will include MMN
