That is strange, because I have a very photo of her, and on the back is written Mary B aged 78 July, 16 1871, so how could she be dead in the first quarter ?

Daria..can comfirm Mary Bladon wife of kames died in Burton-on-Trent..and bu the way born Mansfield Notts.
You need to Google Cemeteries....and try and find burial plans and/or inscriptions.
The first thing to do is try and find which Church held her funeral,,and that means Parish records....

Just found Mary Bladon died Burton on Trent first quarter 1871 aged 76........Volume 6b Page 228..she is the only one in the timescale you give me..........which explains why she appears on the 1851 and 1861 Census with husband james..but not on the 1871.
You might like to check the dates you have.

Trying to find out more about Mary Milnes 1792-1876. Mary married Jeramiah Hind in 1814 -Burton On Trent area. He died in 1818 and Mary re-married James Bladon in 1826. I would really like to know where Mary is buried, as I am coming to England in Sept and would love to find her grave. Mary was the daughter of James Milnes and Ann Hodgkinson.
