Find Ancestors

Trying to find any living relations of my Father who died in London se9 1965 at the age of 35, Raymond Chapman who married my Mother, Margaret Davies in woolwich around 1957. He was cremated at Falconwood.
any help to find my Fathers family would be greatly appreciated.

Have you tried a search on this site to see if anyone else is looking for the family - do you know if he had any siblings, and their names or the names of his parents

Do you have your parents' marriage cert? It will give father's name, and there is a chance relatives might be witnesses. I assume he had no middle name as far as you know?

There are a couple of possible marriages. I think you need his marriage and birth certs really to double-check parents' names then hopefully the marriage should be traceable.

Hi all thanks for the help so far, I believe that Raymond sc Chapman is my Father, where do I go from here? I have my Fathers death certificate. How do I get a marriage certicate and do I need my Mothers permission to obtain one?
