Thank you Anne for all your hard work. Have most of the Mirehouse info from Cumberland PR´s but there are several bits of info such as wife´s names that I hadn´t got.
I am told that all Mirhouses in tne country can trace their ancestors back to Myersyke in Loweswater from the time of Edward the Confesser so a lot of work on hand, but all info is relevent.

Obviously the Liverpool one is too late. Mary jnr had married & had her own children by then.
The one you found is interesting Anne. Don´t think it´s the one I´m looking for brcause it´s too early, but Mary jnr married Henry Norman whose mother was Isabella Graham so obviously the two families intermarried for several generations.
Ah well, back to the drawing board.

Trying to locate marriage details for James Mirehouse/Mary,probably in the area around Lamplugh around 1780 give or take. they had 2 children John & Mary both bapt 26.11 1786 Lamplugh. Mary jnr was my 3xggrandmother & married Henry Norman 1810 Dean
Mirehouse family spread throughout North/West Cumberland for centuries
