Take a look at this one because this is what you get for Mary on the 1881 census and I put that marriage up for James and Mary Beattie. |

Mel. The info I found for the Hutson's was on the 1901 census and with the info you found on the 1891, they all match up with there ages, so are the same family but had moved by 1901 to west derby rd. |

Poss parents of James as he had a son William I think this could be him. The father William is a Boatman. |

Mel, that is them. I remember my mother saying something about Annies middle name being Helena. It could be that my mum did get the surname mixed up as I have found out looking up my dads side. |

They are living at Rathbone St. It could just be the way the person wrote the name but they are all there. |

I also know that Annie Hudson (Hutson) went on to marry a Thomas McEvoy but I don't when, they also had a daughter called Margaret b1912. Thomas McEvoy could of been a shipswright. |

I have been trying to look up a Hudson family from Liverpool, there names were Agnes, Dorothy, Margaret, William and Annie. The only other info that I was given was that their father was a policeman. |
