Thank you so much for all your replies, sorry I haven't been on the site for a while and forgot to check my posts. Thank you Thomas that's great! I've only today discovered the siblings of Thomas Benjamin Bennetto, well so far I've found Walter Davey born 1835 and Mahala (or Makala) born 1830. I think I'm right there, I've just found the baptisms on the Cornwall OPC website. If there are more siblings I'd be really pleased to hear about them.

Only just come across all of this info & realise that it is a year on but if you still want info on the Bennetto's of this Falmouth family let me know. My gr-gr grandfather was Walter Davey Bennetto, younger brother of Thomas Benjamin. The name Laury seems to be a corruption of Lowrey, whose family were pilots of Falmouth. Some wills & certs available.

I'm trying to find the marriage of Mahala Ann Laury Bennetto and Sydney Hall. In 1881 there were both living in Brighton (separately) and their first son Harry was born in Brighton in 1883, so I assume they got married sometime inbetween. Unfortunately I cannot find any trace of this marriage. I found it hard to find her birth (Mahala) but eventually found it in Falmouth in 1853 by trawling through. I've been trying the same method for the marriage but so far am unsucccessful. If anyone can help I'd be really greateful. Thanks
