hi Ginny.i'm not sure on that one too Rachel 1856 and marguerite 1858 were born in st sampsons so i would think that the 1861 census would be in that parish

I dont think she was widowed that early,I seem to recall James Pinchermain with them in 1871 as a lodger,they would still be in vale parish or st sampsons

Hi,Could someone help me with census's please.I have a Fredrick Le Page married to Rachel Ogier ,fredrick died before 1881 as the census says Rachel is remarried to James Pinchemain.I have 4 children of Fredricks .Rachel Le Page born 10/10/1856 Marguerite born 16/4/1858 Charlotte born 1859 and Frederick born 1864.I have put up the 1881 census showing the new marriage and Fredeick 1864 as stepson
