I have the birth certificate for my grandad's brother Henry Moore Stewart. b.1859 in Glasgow. His parents are Henry Moore and Margaret nee Stewart, they didn't marry until 1869.
He is on all census's as Henry Moore, the last one I have for him is 1881 living with his parents and siblings in Glasgow, his occupation is hammerman.
I am having great difficulty finding a marraige or death for him using Henry Moore Stewart and Henry Stewart Moore on Scotlands people and familysearch, any suggestions as where to look next would be great,

Thank you
jean

By 1891 family at 91 Yorkhill St Glasgow and henry Junior and Mary are missing and there are 3 addl children Janet 9, Robert 7 and Leah 5

By 1901 it would seem Henry Senior has died as Margaret 55 is Head of household with Robert 17, Leah 15 and marrried daur Janet Stevenson 19

Have you considered the possibility of emigration for Henry Junior?

Thank you for replying Gillian, I have wondered if he might have emigrated but I don't have access to Ancestry so cannot search.
